Self-nominations are welcome with two independent endorsements completed within seven days.

Every kind of woman.
She may be a farmer, auntie, makcik, caregiver, market seller, craftswoman, teacher, nurse, founder, professional or executive.

Consider her contribution to work, food, education, health, equality, care, community or the environment. These are prompts, not a checklist.
Recognition
The title is complete.
Every honouree receives the Jelita title, an official Who’s Who listing and one invitation to the annual gala. Additional arrangements are optional.

A nomination begins the conversation. It does not automatically make personal information public or guarantee recognition.

Her story still belongs to her.
Nominations can include sensitive experiences involving health, family, hardship or recovery. They are reviewed confidentially. Before any personal story or sensitive detail is published, the nominee will be contacted and her permission obtained.
The secretariat may contact the nominator or nominee only to verify information, administer the process and communicate the outcome.
